Signifying Islamic Psychology as a Paradigm: A Decolonial Move

Abstract. Recognizing the fluidity around definitions and boundaries of Islamic psychology (IP), I propose that assumption decolonial thought may help IP reimagine its vision, orientation, directions. Distinguished by three fundamentals – epistemic freedom, liberation, humanization paradigmatic harvest psycho-spiritual, cognitive, affective resources as well methodological, ethical, metaphysical substance through creation an archive humanism to speak back all areas cognate disciplines focused on human behavior. The espousal locates within larger bodies solidarity decolonizing scholarship committed pluriversal transformatory enactments knowledge.
